❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is this gamepad tester really free?

Yes, completely free. No sign-up, no downloads, no premium features.

Q: My controller isn't detected. What should I do?

Make sure it's connected via USB (Bluetooth works on Windows, but may be spotty on macOS). Press a button to wake it. On Linux, USB is required.

Q: Can I test my PS5 DualSense or Xbox Series controller?

Absolutely — both are fully supported, including adaptive triggers (visual feedback for analog triggers) and vibration tests.

Q: Does this tool work on mobile phones?

Mobile browsers have limited Gamepad API support. For best results, use a desktop or laptop with Chrome/Edge/Firefox.

Q: How accurate is the stick drift detection?

It uses raw axis values from the browser. It can detect drift as low as 5-10% deviation from center. Very minor drift may be visible only on the meter.

Q: Can I test keyboard or mouse here?

This tool is for gamepads only. We have separate keyboard tester and mouse tester tools.
